2 1/2tbSalt
1 1/2cWhite or cider vinegar
1 1/2cSugar
1/2tsMustard seed
1/2tsCelery seed
1/2tsTumeric
1/2ga(2 quarts) thinly sliced
  Cucumbers 1 lg onion sliced

Bring the first six ingredients to a boil, then simmer for about 10 minutes or longer. Place cucumbes and onion into a gallon jar and press down tightly. Pour hot liquid on top, covering all the cucumbers. Cover. Does not need to be vacuum sealed. Cool regrigerate and enjoy.
